Pooler, GA – Korinne Dodd, PT, DPT, has joined the Rehabilitation Services staff of Spine and Sport Physical Therapy as a Physical Therapist.
Dodd recently returned to the Low country after living in Colorado for 18 years and is excited about joining the Spine and Sport team. Dodd received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy degree from Regis University, her Bachelors of Arts degree in Dance from University of Colorado-Boulder and is a certified Pilates Instructor through the Pilates Center Teacher Training Program.
As a longtime dancer and performer, she was no stranger to injury and found herself spending a lot of time in physical therapy rehabilitating dance injuries. Dodd’s treatment approach utilizes a combination of hands on manual therapy techniques with corrective and Pilates based exercise progressions. She enjoys working with dancers, gymnasts and athletes of all kinds, as well general orthopedic patients of ALL ages. She focuses on educating her patients and empowering them to make decisions to help optimize their rehabilitation and help them return to their desired level of activity. Outside of work she enjoys spending time outside with her husband and two dogs, cooking healthy innovative meals and you can often find her frequenting the yoga and Pilates studios around town. She is passionate about all things health and wellness related and loves her profession!
